Effie was born on Valentine's Day and immediately stole our hearts!  We just knew her beautiful color and pattern would be sure to steel others' once she was old enough to show.  She is our first bred and owned National Winner! 

     One of Effie's greatest acheivements was being highest scoring long-haired kitten at the 2008 National Capital Cat show.  She finished the 2008-2009 show season as 4th Best Kitten of all breeds and Best Maine Coon Kitten Nationally.  To date, Effie is one of two Maine Coon kittens to score as high in CFA's history!

     Following her show career, Effie has become a stay at home mom, and a very good one!  She is DNA negative for the HCM gene and cleared by ultrasound. 

     Her first litter, with GC, RW Paleeni's Cory, produced a very special boy we've named Cuzzoe Go Diego Go.  He now resides in Germany and is being shown in Europe. 

     We are very fortunate to now have 5 new babies from Effie!  There are 2 silver patched tabby girls, 1 brown tabby boy, 1 brown tabby & white boy, and 1 silver tabby & white boy.  Please feel free to contact us with about these kittens.
